Green Flim Sanding Disc AG312 combines features for smooth, even sanding on tough surfaces. Grade 24 - 80 ceramic and aluminum oxide blend abrasive is resin bonded to Polyester film backing, with Semi-open coating construction that reduces loading even on fresh filler. The pet film backing has optimal flexibility, tear resistance, and a consistent finish surface. These discs are ideal for Aluminum alloy and nonferrous metal, High gloss polishing.
Built to hold up during the most demanding auto body sanding jobs, the Green Film Disc is resin bonded for heat resistance.
Semi-open coat construction means that our abrasive grains are spaced so that dust and debris can collect in the spaces rather than loading the disc. Additionally, the semi-open coat feature provides a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade, for faster results. Several versions of this disc feature our 7- or 15-hole pattern that helps evacuate dust from the work surface, dramatically increasing disc life and maximizing cut rate.
Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal as well as sanding and finishing applications, premium zirconium oxide are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress. Zirconium aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability, making this product an excellent choice for sanding metal, plastic, and fiberglass substrates, and finishing applications.
Hook-and-loop style discs are ideal for workspaces where adhesive-backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. They are often used in applications where a disc may be too aggressive, as discs tend to leave finer finishes than adhesive-backed discs. Sanding discs conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and be used again and again for the extent of the abrasive life.
