Nylon Wheel

The nylon wheel is an important branch product of abrasive tools, and it is an abrasive product following strong cutting abrasive products such as abrasive belt grinding wheels. Nylon wheels are mainly composed of nylon fiber mesh, grinding media (mineral sand), bonding resin, and other main components, generally corundum and silicon carbide, corundum is usually used for grinding metal, and silicon carbide is used for grinding hard and brittle materials or wood. Various additives such as endothermic additives, fillers, and colorants may be added. The coarser the particle size, the higher the grinding efficiency, the coarser the grain of the grinding surface, the lower the smoothness, and the fluffier the corresponding network fiber structure. The lines with high density are clearer than those with small density, and the lines are not easy to be inclined and interrupted.

Nylon wheels have the characteristics of elastic grinding, cold cutting, and anti-blocking. Compared with the abrasive belt of the same grain size, the lines are finer, softer, and brighter. Compared with a cloth wheel and hemp wheel, the cutting force is stronger, and the lines are clearer. Therefore, nylon wheels are often used in the post-sanding treatment of the grinding wheel and the front treatment of electroplating and mirror light. Therefore, the nylon wheel is also an important abrasive tool for surface conditioning. The lines produced by it have good ornamental value and are widely used in the post-processing of household hardware products.
