What Are The Types And Production Process Of Abrasive Paper?

1. Sponge abrasive paper: It is suitable for grinding smooth parts of all kinds of materials.

 

2. Dry abrasive paper: It is made by bonding silicon carbide abrasive on latex with synthetic resin as binder and is coated with  anti-static coating. It is a high-grade product with the advantage of anti-blocking, anti-static, good flexibility, and high wear resistance.

 

 

3. Waterproof sandpaper: It is suitable for grinding some things with a fine texture and for post-processing because of its fine texture.

 

Production process of abrasive paper:

1. The selection of abrasive

Select different abrasives according to different requirements. Silicon carbide or alumina is preferred. After the selection of the abrasive, the abrasive materials need to be divided as finely as possible. There are 60#, 80#,100#, and other types of sand. If 400# sand is mixed with 600# sand, the quality will be very poor. So please pay special attention.

2. The selection of paper

The raw paper materials are grass, miscellaneous trees, good wood, and bamboo.

3. Glue
